Time: Saturday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m.

Dancing at the Movies is the theme for the October Dance.  Our host and hostess, Dan and Jan, were inspired to try ballroom dancing by the movie "Shall We Dance?".

They have compiled a play list of songs from movies. Trivia buffs should come prepared to name the movie for each song on the list.

Since October is the month for costumes, members and guests are invited to dress as their favorite movie character. There will be door prizes and a prize for the best costume.

Members are asked to bring food for a pot luck supper.

TBDC 2009 June Dance

"Attitudes and Latitudes" is the theme for our dance June 27th.  It will feature music by Jimmy Buffett, other southern rock, and island music artists. The Wolf Island Band will play two sets of mostly swing, NC two step, cha cha, rumba, samba, and even a waltz and bolero from Jimmy Buffett. Before the band starts and during their break our DJ, Dan Davis, will play other music so that we will have a good mix of dance music.
